[Review] Wal Mart innertubes
   by troybetz | 13 Nov 2008 3:08 pm

These innertubes are actually pretty cheap. At $3 per tube, I bought about five of them in case I had a flat, because I was too stupid, not to use a patch kit. My first tube lasted me about a month, then it got a flat when I cased a little 3 stair. My next tube was gone in less than a week, snakebite flat. So I figured I would take George French's advice, get rid of the rubber rim strip, and throw on a few layers of duct tape, and some talc,( baby powder). Worked beautifully! Didn't have a flat for two months, until I put on my foldable Animal GLH's, and got blowout doing a bunnyhop.

Pros:
Cheap
Reliable with the right circumstances
Pretty thick

Cons:
They're a bit heavy. I guess
Don't work great with Animal's
Blowout more often than other tubes

All in all, I give them a 8/10.
