[REVIEW] Eclat Chester Blacksmith grips
   by WHBmx | 10 Dec 2008 3:24 pm

I've had these grips for close to two weeks now. they came with cool eclat pvc bar ends
I usually go through grips in a month or so, and went I went into my lbs this time, they had nothing that i'd had good experiences with before, so I chose these
By just looking at these grips, I knew they'd be somewhat slippery, since they look like a hard bit of plastic

Thanks to our extremely varied climate here in auckland, new zealand, i've ridden these in the rain, the cold, the warm?, the extreme hot. So i guess i've used them a bit in two weeks

They slip a LOT, with sweaty hands, and trust me, a lot. you can slide your hands over them like a.. well, yeah.
but in normal kinda conditions, (i only sweat a lot in very warm weather, which we've been having lately), they're just your average normal grips

With my abnormal grip wearing abilities, they've already started the wearing out process

PROS:
grippy enough in normal conditions
cool barends
average enough barends

CONS:
very slippery when you sweat
start wearing out quickly, but that might be just me

i'd give them a 7 out of them, im sure theyd be good if we werent in summer right now
