[Review] DK Six Pack 2006
   by dirkadirka | 29 Oct 2005 12:49 pm

Hi all, I have been riding for about a year and half now. 6 months of that is on my 06 dk six pack. I see how people are always looking for reviews so this is my contribution.

Ok, I ride all street. I am mostly pretty harsh on my bike. Grinding all things around me. So far this bike has stood by me. The bike is light for the most part. I bought the six pack rather than the cleveland because of the straight cable, no gyro, hate em;/

Well I replaced my cable, new tyres, and evolvers in the back. So much better now. The stock brakes blow, but for 300 bucks its a great deal. Macho hubs, sun rims, fll 4310 frame, you cant ask much more for three hundred bucks. The only problem I have had so far is the crank comes loose every once in a great while, maybe every 3 weeks or something, just need to tighten it up, and my freewheel is trashed.

Bars are nice, i cut my down to 23 inches from the stock 26, so now barspins and x-ups are easier. I cant say to much bad about this bike, all stock stuff is pretty much "stock".  Pegs suck and the pedals suck ass, replace both, i took my pegs off because i couldnt stand them anymore, personal preferance but oh well, bundy's suck.

Pros:
+ light
+ strong
+ nice and smooth

Cons:
- no cassette (300$- its well worth it)
- pegs and pedals suck.

Conclusion:
If you want to ride street, ramp, dirt, or anything you can use this bike for all of them. It can handle hard street so i am sure it can handle dirt and trails. Out of the box this bike is vrey nice for three hundred bucks. All i am giong to replace is new back wheel set-up, and new pedals, other than that its amazing for the prics. If you ar short on cash, check out this bike.

Costs: about $300 USD
