ODYSSEY Monolever (small)

I got this lever a couple of months ago when I was buying my new setup, and realised my lever was pretty nackered (the barrel adjusted was threaded etc).
It only cost £10 and considering a lever is something you need to like (just like grips) I think its well worth the price.
At first I was a little concerned it had no spring, but it doesnt seem to make too much difference. It comes with all replacable hardware, so if you go over the bars 1 time too many and screw up the bolts holding it in place, you dont need a new lever. Because these bolts are detatchable it took slightly longer to fit (you have to hold the back nut with your fingers and tighten the bolt at the same time), but only took a minute or 2 to get in the perfect position. If you do have trouble fitting it you could just get someone else to hold the nuts underneath. Also, its hinged so no taking your grips off to fit it.
Somehow its designed to fit better on the bend so you can run it lower down if you have short bars. Which I think is a feature all levers should have.
It feels amazing. Its small enough to just use one finger without crushing the finger next to it, yet its long enough to use both fingers if thats what you like. If I could do turndowns, Im sure this lever wouldnt get in the way. I've had a few falls onto it and the only thing damaged is the black coating on it, which will get scraped on any lever.
Overall this lever is tough, perfect size, comfortable, fits on the bend, not expensive, probably one of the lightest levers out there. What more do you want? of course if you want something longer or a different shape there is the medium size and trigger lever to choose from. This lever is skins. 10/10
