Animal Steven Hamilton Pedals – product review

Ok to start off I’ve been using these pedals for quite a while now, I switched from the infamous odyssey JC pedals and I think the animal pedals are way better, they are sort of the same shape but don’t look so bulky and they are way more grippy and sleeker.
They have ten pins in each side of the pedals and they come with lots of spare pins to replace if you want. They come in a load of different colours and they are either sealed or unsealed versions. Currently you can also buy them in a ltd edition green which is a darker anodized green – it looks really nice. They are pretty light and they are also good for grinds.

Colours : White, black, blue, purple, green.

The unsealed versions are a nice price too at £31.99 or the sealed versions at £53.99

• Concave.
• Come with two different length of pins and an Allen key.
• Box has a stencil.
• Available in Unsealed or Sealed versions.
• 9/16 (for 3pc cranks) only.

Pros:
1. nice colours
2. sleek and nice looking
3. well priced
4. grippy
5. spare pins
6. stencil box
Cons:
1. The grub screw pins tend to come loose – the Allen bolt shape pins stay in solid however.
2. a friend bent the axle pretty easily but everyone else I know who has them says they are fine
I give them a 7-8/10 because bar the pin problem they are really good pedals.
