I have owned these bars for about 3 months. I fell in love with them right when i installed them on my bike. I got these bars in the black XLT [extra large light] version. They have an 8" rise and were 27-3/4" wide. But i cut them down to 26.5". I'd also like to mention that the sweeps on these bars felt great. They have a 12* backsweep and 1* upsweep. I used to always have troubles with throttle grip, the "anti-throttle holes" that are drilled under the grip area on these bars really worked. They haven't slipped once. They feature heat-treated 13 butted tubing, and are the widdest butted bar you can get. They weigh in at 1.54 lbs. making them the LIGHTEST bars macneil knows of for the size. Also there is no need to worry about them breaking since they have a lifetime warranty. I also did a tiny bit of research and the United Squad bars are the same weight except they are only 11-butted and are 27.3" wide. I can say the paint is really good on these bars to. They haven't got any scratchs or chips of paint, except a bit right on the bends at the top from going OTB. So to conclude my review. I will tell you that I will buy these for my next set of bars, and my next set after that...

I have sat here for maybe 5 minutes and seriously can't think of a single con to these bars.

overall these bars in my mind get an 11/10.
because they are plain wonderful.
