[Review] TREE Bicycle Co. Sprocket
   by Flatline | 28 Sep 2005 12:35 pm

I've ridden this sprocket for almost 3 or so months now and it is great.   I have never had a problem with it.   I regularly give it a good thrashing riding dirt, street, and park, but it holds up good to grinds and other abuse I give it.

The sprocket is made of 7075 aluminum which is said to be atleast 80% stronger than 6061 and it is 5/16" thick.   It accepts both 1/8 and 3/16 chains and has a 110mm bolt pattern on sprockets 33t - 44t tooth for sprocket guards.   The sprocket will fit directly onto a 22mm (7/8") spindle without the use of the steel spacer that is included with the sprocket to fit onto 19mm (3/4") spindles.

Overall I think this sprocket is very nice.  The price is only drawback it has, but it is money well spent.   I recommend this sprocket to anyone looking for the best sprocket made (in my opinion) or someone that wants high quality, but not be limited to few choices.   I give this sprocket an overall rating of 9/10 only because of the steep price it incorperates.
