[How To] Bunnyhop
   by bikerbcs | 19 Oct 2005 2:13 pm

Trick Description:
Hopping with the bike when the front wheel leaves the ground before the back wheel.

HOWTO:
Thought I myswell post this. Maby it will help someone.

Riding at a decent speed. Notice that my legs and arms are bent so I can get a good pop.

Legs are still slightly bent, Arms are straight. Front end is off the ground.

Yeah.. Legs are getting straighter and front end is getting higher as I continue to pull back.

Legs are even straighter and I continue to lift the front even higher. Notice how even though the front wheel is lifting higher off the ground I keep my weight centered over the bike instead of leaning way the hell back behind the seat like a wheelie.

As seen in this pick. You get your legs and arms straight so your standing straight up and pull the bars up until they reach your knees which allows bigger height in your hop.

Knees are completely touching bars and I continue to keep a straight posture as the bike rises from the ground about 6 inches so far. The bike is almost vertical. icon_eek.gif .. Basically you have your knees and arms straight and keep a straight posture and you pull your bars up and slam them on your knees and pull up.

Yeah... Getting higher. Arms and back are very very slightly bent. I guess I sorta keep bending my arms and legs to allow the bike come up with me higher.

Arms and legs are now bending as I my front tire reaches the peak of my hop and just begin to start to level out as the bike isnt as vertical now. You push forward and the bike will start to level out more.

My legs and arms continue to bend.

Basically leveled out now as I start to lose height. Weight centered over the bike.

Yeah....

Knees are arms are bent some.

Woohoo your now on the ground but then you must bend quickly to absorb impact pressure to be easier on your bike and so your knee caps dont explode.. as show in next pic..

Yep. Starting to bend. Damn I look f*ck HUGE on that bike. Must be the digital cam.

There yah go. Now your cool. Go hop over some car hoods and fire hydrants now.
This clip was taken 3 months back. I can hop much higher then that now..

Edit--- And heres a few bunnyhop clips I found of me if they help any how.
