[Review] S&M Redneck
by bmx street rider | 21 Oct 2005 12:21 pm

I was looking for a new stem when my crappy Diamondback stem cracked on me on a 4 ft drop-off, it also was rusty, the allen bolts were rounded off and the handlebars endlessly slipped.
I decided to get the S&M Redneck stem coz it was front-loading and looked pretty badass. Also I thought it looked so much stronger than the S&M Redneck Light. So I bought it. It was no problem getting on and it looked sweet. I tightened it up on the steerer tube and the handlebars with my hands.
Now I've had it on my BMX for nearly a year now and I'm not lying! My handlebars or steerer tube haven't slipped and I only tightened it up once and that was when I first got it! I love this stem and it hasn't let me down not once.
I recommend this stem to everyone and I give it 10/10.

Costs: about $50 USD
