[Review] 2004 STANDARD Mark IV
   by allstarmatt24 | 13 Jan 2006 5:04 pm

I bought this frame used off of Ebay, and it came a little beat up but it's ready to take some more thrashing.
The specs on this frame are amazing! It's soooo light, I'm use to riding a pretty heavy frame so this a huge upgrade. I'm terrible at manualing but it's so easy on this frame because of the 14.5 in. tail. 360's come naturally on this as well, again because of the shorter tail and because it's so light. It did take a really long to get the bottom bracket cups in, although I wasn't exactly using a cup press. A hammer and a 2x4 is more like it. The paint isn't the best either, it flakes off pretty easy. But those are pretty minor things in my opinion considering how great a frame this really is.
I have only been riding it for a short while and I'm already totally stoked on this frame.  I highly recommend anything from Standard, high quality products and quick to respond with question on any of their items! Keep Riding!!
