[Review] Poverty Cassette Hub
   by Charles | 09 Jun 2006 7:26 pm

I got this cassette hub 1/2 a year ago along with my Supra J rim.  Usually when people think of poverty the company they think of Danscomp and that means poor quality.  However that is quite an arrogant thing to say.  I have had no problems with this hub either. I have to say it is a bullet proof piece of hub engineering.

I have given the wheel a good thrashing and it has taken alot of bails. Have been riding a large variety of riding consisting of Street/Park/Flatland/Dirt its all good. It hasn't come loose or nothing unbelievably. I couldn't believe it myself. I was a little weary of getting a hub with the word poverty stamped on it but its been treating me right and for the price I guess I couldn't complain either way.

I know of a few other guys in the area who have tried this cassette and as far as I know there still riding it so that is good news. I wouldn't say there big time thrashers but beginners are sometimes the hardest on there bikes.
