[Review] Poverty Buck 99
   by PoVeRtYbMxR66 | 18 Jun 2006 10:15 am

Ahh the Poverty Buck 99. This bike is a beast. I've had it for about a year and a half and it's holding up pretty good. The only problems I've had was the pedals made weird clicking noises but w/e i bought oddysey ones.

Anyways, this bike destroys, its great for dirt and street riding both, They put on stock Maxxis Holy Rollers which are incredible for dirt but poopy on street, they also hum cuz of the tred on it.

I loved the handlebars, unfortunately, i bent them riding dope ass trails. I screwed up and launched my bike like 5 feet in the air and it came right down on the left arm of the bars, bent it 90 degrees, lol. Thats about it, the only dum thing is that they put a 3/8 axle in the front which i immediately replaced. Also, after about a year and a half of riding, my Poverty POW crank is starting to get stripped, it sucks but w/e. I give the Povertey Buck 99 a 8/10.

Costs:  about $200 USD
