[Review] Macneil XLT silencer bars
   by christopherandrews | 07 Feb 2007 5:41 pm

Macneil XLT silencer bars

• Heat-treated 13-butted design, so they're strong and light.
• Anti-throttle holes under grip area.
• The widest butted bar you can get.
• 12° back-sweep.
• 1° up-sweep.
• 8” rise.
• 27-3/4” width.
• Weight: 698g (1.54 lbs).

I have had these bars for about a month now and they feel great, they have the same up/backsweep and rise as slam bars which i ran before these and are slighty narrower than slams(28") at 27.75" wide.

The bars are really light at 1.54 lbs, they feel real nice if you like tall/wide bars. I wasn so keen on the anti-throttle holes as my grips still slipped when i put them on with wd-40 and a hair dryer so i wrestled them back on completley dry and they aren going anywhere now.

Pros
  • Real light
  • nice sweep, height and width
Cons
  • The anti-throttle holes dont really do alot
I would reccommend these bars to people who like the feel of slam bars cus they are very simillar and a lot lighter.

The price is (£45) dunno about america

i give them 9.5/10 so far
