[Review] Fly Cranks
   by thatotherguy84 | 07 Feb 2007 5:41 pm

Okay boys and girls the fly cranks, I have ran these ever since they first hit the market. I have gotta say I was skeptical at first but a kickass local from around here got a first test run of them and he still rides them to this day. What first attracted me to them was the weight of the cranks, secondly was the fact that is has lhd/rhd compatibility which is important to me since as of now I run rhd but soon will switch to lhd. This is also the first fly product I have ever purchase and love it. The welds on these cranks are amazing, not shotty at all! Of course you have to put the crankset together with a mallet, its tough the first time but after that it goes together nice and smooth. As long as you keep it nice and tight it will hold up great!

(these were around when I first got em)

Pros:
Super Light
LHD/RHD compatible (Unlike the odyssey wombolts)
Bolts hold up nice and tight
Real solid feeling no flex
On the cheap side

Cons:
Because not that many people may like the new look of the crank

Overall I give it a 9 because nothings perfect but this comes really close!
