[Review] Odyssey Hazard Front Hub
   by turndown | 16 Apr 2007 1:12 pm

Since I bought this hub used, I have no idea how hard it was ridden before me, or how old it is. But I do know, that it doesnt matter. This hub had a small bit of grind wear and a couple spokes missing on it when I got it, and since I got it I have been pegless grinding on it and regular grinding on it. Needless to say, this hub still spins smooth as butter. Its nice to know that a good, strong, 14mm hub is still available for those who dont want to run 10mm axle in the front. I havent been very easy on this hub, and Im sure I would have destroyed a 10mm hub had I bought one.

Specs: 14mm hollow axle, black only, 36 or 48h, 4 sealed bearings

Pros: Strong, priced good, amazing quality.

Cons: If you wanted coloured hubs, I guess you are stuck.

Rating: I give this a 9.9/10 with .1 off for it only being available in black, as some people might not dig that.

Cost: About 50 USD
