[Review] Fly brakes
   by Louis K | 14 May 2007 9:46 pm

Ok after having troubles with my odyssey evolvers I wanted to try somethin better, more expensive, and lighter. So I attacked the Fly brakes. They come in many colors like black, brown, coffee, orange, pink, turquoist, and white, and other limited edition colors. They are super light at 5.5oz for a pair of arms, and come with some good black koolstop eagle claw 2 pads. I paid $65 for my fly brakes and I am sure every penny is worth it. They stop on a dime when I want them too and feather really easily. They also are super easy to set up if you can dial brakes. They are really low profile too so its good for frames with chainstay (bottom) brake mounts. But they also work good on seat stay (top) brake mounts like mine.

Pros:
Light
No flex
Comes with good pads
Lots of Colors

Cons:
Expensive (but worth every penny)

I give these brakes a 9 out of 10.
