[Review] S&M Redneck XLT stem.
   by monkeyonabike | 02 Jul 2007 1:32 pm

hey i have had this stem for about a month and a half, and its great. its really light (10.8oz). it comes in black, nickel, red and special limited edition colours. the reach on it feels comfortable and isnt too short or long for barspins.

The stem has stayed tight and i have stacked on it a few times and my bars havent moved yet. its made of 6061 aluminium and has a removable gyro tab, if gyro floats your boat. The cutouts in the stem are in areas where it doesnt compromise strength, which is a plus. All the conrners on it are r ounded, which means that it is easy on the knees when you slip.

overall i give this stem a 9/10 as the cap on the top of it looks wack, ill try to get a pic of one on a bike tomorrow
