[Review] Animal GLH tyre
   by JustinCarter | 04 Aug 2007 3:30 pm

So I've had this tyre about a month and a half, and I've had ZERO problems with it. I ride almost everyday so it gets more then enough use. I've had 0 flats since I had it. One day i was even pumping it up with some cheap walmart tube and it exploded. All that it did to the tire was rip 2 small wholes in the sidewall and it wasn't even all the way threw, it was just the first think layer of thin plastic. All I did was glue it down and it was back to normal. Here's a picture,

This is a ramp/street tire and it has dual ply sidewall for those who grind a lot like myself. It also holds 110psi. It comes in 1.95(26.3oz) and 2.10(26.9oz). It is on the heavy side but it totally redeems itself in the strength department.

The tire is a bit hard to get on triple wall rims then others. After about a month and a half i can see barely any wear, it could pass as new.

Pros:
Thick sidewalls
Wears down slow
Pretty much puncture proof

Cons:
A bit on the heavier side
Hard to get on rim.

Overall if you ride street this is one of the best tires out there, you cannot go wrong i give this tire 9/10!
