"There's a reason that Profile Racing's BMX Race Crankset has been manufactured for longer than most parts companies have been around. Made in the USA from 4130 Crome Moly, our crankarms are the standard by which all other cranks are measured, and have been for years. Our 48 spline 4140 Steel Bottom Bracket Spindle revolutionized BMX when it was introduced, instantly rendering obsolete inferior square-tapered BB's. Added to all that is our Limited Lifetime Warranty on the arms and the spindle against bending and breaking to original purchasers". (quoted from site)

In my own words...

Well, what else can I add? I've used several different brands of cranks over the years and broke them all...but to this day I have yet to break a set of profiles (although they are breakable, I've seen it). These are a great light weight crank, and very durable...you can expect generally to get at least a year or two out of the arms before having to replace them (depending on how hard you ride). I guess thats it, not really much more I can add, the company and the cranks reputation speak for themselves...these cranks are legendary, give'em a try, you can't go wrong with these!

Pros:
Strong
Light
Lots of sizes
Warranty

Cons:
Sometimes come loose when first installed
