[REVIEW] Animal Edwin Grips
   by trickdaddy69 | 01 Aug 2005 8:51 am

I have had these edwin grips for about 4 or 5 months now and they have done really well up until day before yesterday.

Many people have said that they are good grips to ride even though their hands sweat profusely, I disagree. I found out QUICKLY that i needed to ride with gloves and have had to since I got them.  The mushroom basis caused poor grip when my hands were wet, while gloved, they were AMAZING.

I've tried several different grips (primo walls, odi longnecks, etc) and these are by far the most comfortable.  i normally ride a good 20-25 miles (yeah, i said 20-25 MILES) during a ride just because I live soo far from downtown.  I was riding at one of the 5 colleges the other day and realized during a rest break that I had ripped a big hole on the underside of my left hand grip where my thumb would sit.  I've NEVER had this problem before using the same gloves.  my guess is that they are just not made to last TOO terribly long.  for 9.99$ though, who cares, they lasted almost 6 months.  I personally liked them and just reordered them from a mailorder.  I cant waite till they get to me tomorrow so i can get back to riding.
overall I give these a 8 out of 10.

Costs: about $10 USD
