[Review] Stolen S*Hole Stem
   by zacaroo | 13 Jan 2008 8:35 pm

Product Overview
The Stolen S*Hole stem is a lightweight stem (9.5 oz or 275 grams) CNC'd from billet 6061 T-6 aluminum, it has a reach of 51.4mm. It has some wicked external machining and is machined internally to reduce weight, it also comes with hollow bolts to keep it as light as it is. It comes with an aluminium gyro plate and is available in 3 colours - black, gold and red. It cost $100 Australian dollars. It is available in America for $54.99. It is also cheaper than many other stems on the market (Colony Official, Odyssey Elementary, S&M Redneck, WTP Supreme etc)

Personal Experience
I have had this month for around 4 months now and it hasn't slipped once. It barely has a scratch on it either, even though my bike gets piled into the back of a ute with many other bikes when we go roadtripping. I am the only person I have seen with one of these and alot of people I talk to/meet like the stem. The only problem I have had with the stem was putting it on for the first time. It didn't go on easily, but I put a rag around some wood and hit it on and it goes on and off easily now.
