[Review] Etnies Shecklers
   by gregor | 23 Jan 2008 11:53 pm

I am sitting here with a fairly old pair of Etnies shoes, that are shall we say stuffed. So I thought before I throw them in the bin I will write a review about them because they have been fairly good to me.

Usually for me a pair of shoes will last 4 months (because I use them for everything) but these shoes have lasted me over 7 months which I am extremely happy with. They also surprised me with their comfort when I first bought them, which lasted throughout the whole time I had them. Another thing was how good they held up with riding, but the only thing that let them down was the durability of the sole of the shoe (because I am brakeless). So because I use my left foot to brake there is a hole that has worn the whole way through. So when it was wet and if I was just walking I would get a wet foot and this got quite annoying. aOn the looks side of things, well I think that they look pretty cool but as the ghetto affect starts to set in the look far less fashionable.

here is a new pair
and here are my shoes

summary

looks:good looking until they get old

comfort and protection:these are very comfy but also very easy to roll your ankle in

price: same as all other skate shoes so not good or bad

pros
good looking shoe
hella comfy
long lasting

cons
wear quickly when brakeless
not cheap
inside of shoe wears fairly quick

overall raing:7.5

Thanks for reading. I hope this helped.
