[Review] Kink Slim Pivotal Seat
   by ant1h3ro | 28 Feb 2008 3:29 pm

This is my review of the Kink Slim Pivotal Seat.

For starters, this seat is a rather pricey counterpart to the other pivotal seats on the market, but for good reason. The Kink Slim Pivotal Seat is made up of plastic frame soft padding, and a kevlar (a very tough fiber that is best known as a bullet-resistant vest material used by the military and police forces all over the world) cover. Amazingly enough the kevlar is not rough, as many may expect. In fact, it is quite soft to the touch and does not make the seat any stiffer or rougher to sit on. Furthermore, the kevlar is very durable and has kept my seat looking fresh for the entire 7 months that I have owned it. Even after some nasty falls on some rough surfaces. Moreover, the Slim seat is also, as described by the title, slim. This is a plus for those of you who like keeping the seat out of your way for certain tricks. Also, because of the slim design, the seat is made quite sturdy and still very light weight.

As stated, the seat is a Pivotal model seat. This is basically the same form on every seat and so far I have had absolutely no problems out of it. In fact, I havn't even had to adust my seat since I first put it on 6 or 7 months ago.

Pros
Cover is made up of a very strong and durable material.
Slim so it stays out of the way.
More comfortable than one may think.
Light weight for you weight whores.

Cons
Just a bit more pricey than the others.
May not be comfortable for those of you who sit way too much.

I'd give the seat a 9/10 because it suits me perfect.
