[review] Demolition Zero Rim
   by bwalega | 04 Mar 2008 8:32 pm

I must say that I am overall really pleased with this rim.

I purchased this rim over a year ago after I was riding for a few months. I bent my stock Haro single wall rim and decided i needed something strong to put up with my learning.

I do not ride anything big really. The largest stair sets I do are 4 or 5 stairs. This rim has exceeded my expectations. When learning new things or just screwing up in general, I often hit my rim in weird ways that would normally dent a rim. The Demolition Zero rim is bulletproof. I have hit objects while hopping over them (how I damaged my old rim), hit the sidewall into ledges while icepicking, and in general, have put it through a lot of abuse.

The only damage to the rim as of now is a small dent in the sidewall. I wish i could tell you how this happened, but my bike was stolen and after I stole it back, I noticed a dent in the sidewall and a popped tire.

Overall, I am very pleased with this rim.

I rate it a 10/10

Pros:
-Basically Bulletproof
-Very Light
-Now comes in cool demolition colors

Cons:
-Price (It is not too badly priced, but could be cheaper. But in my eyes, buying a slightly more expensive rim beats having to buy a few cheap rims and re-lace them)
