[Review] Fly Bikes 3 Amigos Bars
   by Sean13 | 23 Mar 2008 11:25 pm

“The 3 amigos bars were the handlebars responsible for the 9 butted craze”

Right Ok, first off I’ve had these bars for just less than 2 years now. Almost faultless apart from the fact they feel really narrow and low now I’ve started to ride friend’s bikes with slam, glams, and ape hangers. At 25.25” wide and 7.25” high. A plus is the weight a rather light 640g about 1.5lbs. They’re available in a variety of colours including Black, Green, Grey, Tan and Orange, and are only £39.99 at the moment. They have 4 degrees of upsweep and 12 back, so are very comfortable. They come with a 2-year warrantee; instead of the lifetime you would tend to expect from odyssey, Sunday, S&M ECT. Mine have been through some hard slams and are still spot on, not bent twisted or cracked so all is good.

Pros:
Real light at 640grams.
Vast array of Colours.
2 Year warrantee.
Narrow if that’s your thing.
Low if that’s your thing.
Reasonably priced.

Cons:
Narrow
Low
Not a lifetime guarantee, like you get from odyssey.

In all these bars you will either like or you will hate. Perfect for narrow bar riders and a nightmare for those who ride trails and want big bars.

I give them 8/10
