[REVIEW] Demolition Johnson Seatpost
   by ridebmxx | 04 May 2008 1:59 pm

Ive had my Demolition Johnson Seatpost for over a year now. It works great never had a problem with it. Hold seat perfect and its light weight. I cut the post down and painted it white. I have it setup with a Odyssey Senior Seat and my seatpost and seat combo is lighter thn most pivitol set ups. It comes 195mm long at 7oz. It also fits 7mm to 9mm rails for more options with seats. It comes in red, purple and polished. The only con with it was the bolts for the seat post where hard to find. I lost one of my bolts for a while and my seat still stayed in place but i replaced it. My friend had a bolt tht fit it so i put tht in there.

Specs:

7075 Al. Made using 3D forging. The process
lets us forge pieces both externally and internally
simultaneously, which creates less overall
stress on the material being forged. This
creates a finished piece that is significantly
stronger than a one piece that has been
forged and then machined or drilled.

Here's a quick comparison on Al difference...

Alloy..........Tensile Strength.......
-------------------------------
7075---------83,000 PSI---------
6061---------45,000 PSI---------

Weight: 6.9 oz.

Colors: Black, Red, Polished & Purple

Pros:
Light Weight
Looks Good
Different seat post rail options
Holds Good

Cons:
Hard to find size bolts

I rate this product 10/10
