[Review] Eastern Stealth Cranks
   by Andrew4554 | 06 Jun 2008 7:27 pm

"The spankin' new Eastern Stealth cranks are not detectable by radar. And it's not because of some futuristic, anti-reflective technology. It's cause they're so dang light, sleak and skrong!! That's right skrong."

I got these cranks for $59 "Scratch & Dent". There was nothing wrong with it except chips in the paint. It didn't bother me, I just repainted them. I had these cranks for 4 months now and they are decent. First off I had a problem with the spindle size(19m) because its really (long later on I may replace it or shave it down if that is plausible). The cranks began getting loose, so I overtightened the bolts and they havent become loose since. I liked how it came with its own tools to install it and the overall weight of the product. They seem small but there quite durable. I bashed them into quarters and ledges so far and they seem to be holding up.The 10 Spline spindle is ok but -I would have preferred 48. Note* I've been riding them for 4 months.

Pros
-19mm 10-spline heat-treated chromoly spindle
-Light-weight heat-treated chromoly arms
-175mm length arms
-Right Hand/Left Hand compatible
-Arms, Bolts and Spindle only
-5mm and 8mm Allen wrench included for easy installation
-Weight: 31oz w/o BB
-Color: Black, White, Artic Blue, Cream or Chrome
-Cheap ($89 USD)

Cons
-You have to tighten them pretty tight
-Spindle is quite long
-10 Spline spindle

Note* The spindle may look longer due my Euro B.B.w/spacers on my bike.

In conclusion I think this is a decent crank set, and pretty good for the price.
8/10
