[REVIEW] Cheng Shin Thornproof Innertubes
   by Sharky 8 | 19 Jul 2008 7:58 pm

I've had these tubes front and rear for about 6 and a half months, and I haven't had one puncture in that time. Glass, thorns, nails... you name it, I've run over it. I got a lot of punctures before I got these, and now punctures are a thing of the past!

They cost £3.50 each, and they basically pay for themselves when it comes to getting new tubes and puncture repair kits.

Only problem I can see is the weight, but it doesn't bother me. These tubes are considerably heavier than standard tubes.

(Yeah, they look like other tubes, lol)

Pros:
-Puncture-proof
-Saves so much money in puncture repair kits and new tubes
-Heavy duty, durable rubber

Cons:
-Not recommended for weight-conscious riders

Overall, I give them 9.5/10, and I wholeheartedly recommend them (they also only come in black... not red)
