Wellgo A8 Pedals
   by JohnW | 26 Jul 2008 5:06 pm

I bought a pair of these off of albe's a couple months ago for $8. They were way too grippy and not very shin friendly. I removed the two nonreplacable pins on the edges of both sides on the pedals along with the middle pins on the ends. They were decent enough after that. Then today I looped out of a manual and sent the bike flying. I picked it back up and went to ride and noticed my foot was tilting up and down. Bent the spindle on the right one.

Pros:
Cheap
Plenty of grip

Cons:
Too grippy without removing pins
not shin friendly
you get what you pay for...

I give them a 5/10. Unless all you do is flatland, don't buy em, because they'll bend.
