[REVIEW] Hoffman Solemates
   by Lee | 30 Jul 2008 11:07 pm

I know theres already a review on these but its pretty bad. Hope mine's better
----------------

General: I've had the aluminum unsealed version for quite a while now and had no problems with then what so ever. The short pins are a bit too short for my liking but the longer ones are perfect. The colour has stayed on brilliantly and still look good. The main pins thread into a small nut that sits in the pedal body to prevent stripping the threads in the pedal if you do pedal grinds. The 4 smaller DMR style pins are just like normal pins. You get a set of long and short main pins with the pedals but no extra nuts or DMR pins. The pedals are slightly shorter than most other pedals.

They weight 21.6oz.

Pros & Cons

Pros:
Relatively light
Innovative design
Good colours
Knurled
Plenty of pins

Cons:
Knurled
Not as light as Mag or PCs

Summary

I would rate these pedals 10/10 because my experience with them has been brilliant.
If you need new pedals and don't want plastic or the cost of Mags, definitely think about getting these.
