[REVIEW] federal hamilton frame
   by street meat | 18 Jan 2009 4:19 pm

I got this frame for christmas and its such a nice frame. Straight out of the box you realise how light it is for a frame which can take a lot of abuse. I have ridden it for about a month now and it is amazing. Its got a real short backend (13.5) which makes it real easy to spin and makes manuals/hops feel like nothing at all. I got the 20" brakeless version in black and the size of the top tube is perfect for me at 5'6 and the 75 degree head tube gives the bike a snappy feel to it and very quick on response. The month i have had my bike i have 180'd stair sets, grinds, missed grinds, big hops and it still functions perfect, the only battle scars it has is a bit of paint wear from were the chain has been loose when I built it up; apart from this the frame is still perfect and I recommend this to anyone. The frame is only £200 as well, which I think is a good price for a well built frame from a good company. Also has a lot of options in tt size, brake or brakeless and black or purple

pros

  • light
  • not too expensive
  • takes a beating
  • steven hamilton signuture
  • short back end with lots of tt sizes
  • strong

cons
  • paint abit soft
  • stickers hard to get off

overall i give it 10/10
